Flatland News

There are a lot a jokes about people who use free web sites as opposed to paying $5 or so dollars per month to remove the name 'free'.  Now you tell me.  What makes more sense?  Sure, when a business uses sales from a website or tax dollars are used to support a site representing a government agency.  But me?  Just li'l ole me, talking about nothing in particular except what comes in my li'l ole head without making a dime off of this thing.  Why should I pay to remove the word 'free'?  And if free sites are a profitable marketing tool for Freewebs, then why shouldn't I help them out?...  Give me your comments on the Guestbook.

Thanks for coming to Flatland News website.  This is called Flatland News because the author of this site is from a flat region of the United States.  As he moved to a more hilly area, he became known as Flatlander.  Don't worry!  This is more than just news from the Flat Land because we don't have cattle futures or grain prices.

Take a look around and feel free to leave comments and suggestions in the Guestbook.  We change things around from time to time so this site is more or less boring, depending on which month you come here.  The Christian Links are the most interesting but that is because most of them, with a couple of exceptions, aren't linked back to this site.
